Zoldan Named Top Global Fireworks Entrepreneur

YOUNGSTOWN, OH (Wednesday, June 3, 2009) – Bruce J. Zoldan, President and CEO of the B.J. Alan Company - Phantom Fireworks of Youngstown, Ohio, was named the Most Influential Entrepreneur in the global fireworks industry by the International Fireworks Association at its 9th International Fireworks Festival and China Fireworks and Firecrackers Industry Expo on May 23, 2009 in Liuyang, Hunan Province, China.

Part of the large-scale competition for the world’s most influential fireworks companies in 2009, the International Fireworks Association named the 10 most influential entrepreneurs in the global fireworks industry and ranked Mr. Zoldan number one. Mr. Zoldan was the only non-Chinese entrepreneur in the rankings. Liu Jian Hui, manager of Phantom’s Guangzhou, China logistics and quality control operations, accepted the award on Mr. Zoldan’s behalf.

Mr. Zoldan is a founding member of the American Fireworks Standards Laboratory and the National Council on Fireworks Safety, Inc., and the company holds memberships in the IFA, Pyrotechnics Guild International, National Fireworks Association, National Fire Protection Association, and many state fireworks trade associations.
