CONSUMER FIREWORKS |

| Specifically Permitted | Dipped sticks or wire sparklers (not to exceed 100 grams per item; devices containing chlorate or perchlorate salts not to exceed 5 grams), cylindrical and cone fountains, illuminating torches, wheels, ground spinners, flitter sparklers, snakes, smoke devices, and trick noisemakers. |
DISPLAY FIREWORKS |

| Display Permit | Apply to State Fire Marshal at least 15 days before display date. |
| Insurance | Required: $10,000 minimum to $100,000 maximum personal injury insurance, $10,000 minimum to $100,000 maximum property damage insurance. |
| Operator | Operator must be approved by the chief of the fire department for the area in which the display is to be filed. Application for any permit must name a complete operator and include a brief resume of the operator’s experience. |
MANUFACTURE, STORAGE, TRANSPORTATION |

| Prior to shipment of fireworks, novelties and trick noisemakers into the state, shipper must submit to the State Fire Marshal complete descriptions of items being transported, written certification that the devices are in compliance with Indiana law, and a $1,000 registration fee to receive mandatory certificate of compliance. Shipping crates must be labeled with exact number of pieces enclosed. | |
