CONSUMER FIREWORKS |

| Specifically Permitted | Star lights, helicopter flyers, cylindrical fountains, cone fountains, wheels, torches, colored fire, sparklers, dipped sticks, comets, shells, soft shell firecrackers not to exceed 1½” in length and ¼” in diameter, total pyrotechnic composition not to exceed 50 mg each. |

DISPLAY FIREWORKS |

| Display Permit | Apply to city auditor at least 15 days before display date, $2 fee. |
| Insurance | None specifically required in state law. |
| Operator | No license specifically required in state law. Rules of public display as defined in NFPA 1123 shall be used. Distributor license: apply to Licensing Division, Attorney General, $250 fee. Retail license: apply to county sheriff, $5 fee. Wholesale license also required. |
LICENSING |

| License good for calendar year in which issued. Only licensed wholesaler or retailer may import fireworks into state. Retailers must purchase only from licensed wholesaler. | |
