How to Properly Use Aerial Spinners

Pre-Show Setup
  • Make sure you have a clear, open space to light
  • Light the spinners on a hard, flat surface
  • Have a hose, fire extinguisher, or water supply at hand for emergencies
  • Make sure your audience is a safe distance away a minimum of 100 feet
  • Keep spinners in their packaging until you are ready to use

Using Aerial Spinners
  • Be sure to wear Safety Glasses and Safety Gloves when lighting.
  • Use a Phantom Pyro Torch, punk or extended lighter to light
  • Use a flashlight at night so you can see the aerial spinner
  • Spinners need a very flat surface to launch
  • Most spinners can launch from asphalt, pavement or plywood surface
  • After you light the fuse move a safe distance away
  • Track the trajectory of the flight path of the spinner to make sure it comes down cold and does not start a grass or brush fire
  • Never re-use a spinner that fails to light the first time, use a hose or other water source to soak the spinner and safely dispose of the spinner outdoors

Warning
  • Do not use with Alcohol
  • Never attempt to take a spinner apart
  • Never hold a spinner while lighting
  • Never put your head or any part of your body over a spinner
