How to Properly use Reloadable Mortar Kits

Pre-Show Setup
- Make sure you have a clear, open space to shoot with 150 feet between your launch site and the audience or inhabited buildings
- Have a hose, fire extinguisher, or water supply on hand in case of emergencies
- Be sure you stabilize your tube with bricks
- Keep shells in their packaging until you are ready to use, do not keep loose shells together
Using Reloadables
- Only use the tube provided with the shells, do not mix different shells with different tubes
- Make sure the arrow on the shell is pointing up
- Be sure to wear Safety Glasses and Safety Gloves when lighting
- Use a Phantom Pyro Torch, punk or extended lighter to light
- Use a flashlight at night so you can see the fuse
- Never re-use a shell that fails to light the first time, soak the shell in a bucket of water and safely dispose of the shell outdoors
- Wait a minimum of 30-45 seconds before reloading another shell in the tube
- Make sure to shake out any loose debris between another shell in the tube
- Recheck the tube's bracing before next launch
